Red face HELP Fitting Power Lead Through Bulkhead MY03

I am TRYING to fit an Amp today and am finding it impossible to feed the power lead from the battery through the bulkhead on the passenger's side. Is there a gap or any way that I can do this without getting too technical?

Come in Chiark!!!!!!

Thanks

Jerome

Take one wire coathanger, cut the top off to make one long straight wire. Bend one end over at 180 degrees to create a blunt end.

Push through the large rubber grommet, spray a little WD40 into the hole and keep pushing gently until the coathanger ends up in the passenger side footwell.

Then attach the power cable to the end of the coathanger in the engine bay with a lot of insulation tape and pull the cable though with the end of the hanger in the footwell.

Worked for me anyway.

I used the existing grommet - the exit of it is loomed up with tape. Remove the tape and you've got shedloads of room to get 4AWG through there

NP mate.

When I routed the powercable a few days ago on my JDM STi I had to take off both the intercooler and waterspray resevoir to get to the grommet. What a pain in the ****.

On my old WRX there was enough room to fit a bus between the intercooler and supension tower!
