As some of you probably know (from other threads) I will be re-doing the kitchen in a couple of weeks.
Anyway measured up worktops to see how much i need, anyway along 2 sides of the kitchen is standard 600mm worktop, no problem. However the 3rd piece of worktop is non standard and from looking at it, its not 2 pieces that have been joined either.
The non standard piece is 'L' shaped. The width of the LEG of the 'L' is 620mm arses. Then the FOOT of the 'L' adds another 50mm to the overall width. Now the LEG part is a cover for a drawer unit so it needs to be at least 610 wide to cover that up.
The LEG of the 'L' forms part of a counter style opening into the dining area so the ROLLED edge needs to be on the kitchen side or cut off.
I could cut the worktop lengthways and have 1 rectangular 300mm wide piece and another 'L' piece thats 310-320 wide on the LEG, then glue the 2 piece together, but then you have a join line running down the middle of the worktop
WHAT DO I DO, HELP, everything in my flat is bloody non standard, arhhhh
