The car is a 2003 (03) STI Type UK with Prodrive Performance Pack fitted, it is WR Blue Mica and has over 2 years manufacturer's warranty left.

The car is only 10 months old and is as you would expect... showroom condition.

Usual STI spec plus the following -:

Extras:-

> Prodrive Exhaust (PPP)
> High flow sports CAT (PPP)
> Performance fuel pump (PPP)
> Prodrive mapped ECU (PPP)
> 19in OZ Racing Superleggera lightweight wheels in Gold
> Toyo Proxes 235/35/19 Tyres (1000 miles old)
> Prodrive Spring Kit and geometry/alignment set
> Infinity Reference front components/tweeters
> Kenwood 6 x 9's in modified rear shelf
> Genuine STI grille badge
> Genuine STI sphere gearknob

Performace:-
> In the region of 305bhp, and fully covered by IM warranty.

Security:-
> Cat1 Alarm and Immobiliser
> RAC Trackstar

It has 13k miles on it, and full service history from Stan Palmers, Carlisle.

The car has over £4,600 of extra goodies at retail prices, not including the labour or the parts I have forgotten to list!

Total cost of the car, including all extras at RRP is over £29,600!!! (not including labour!)

I'd be willing to sell in current state for
offers in region of £23,000 with all extras

Talizman - nice car.

How many owners?

What part of the country?

How cheap is the finance?!?!?

just a query mate. when i got my RAC trackstar i was led to believe it cannot be transferred to the new owner when you sell your car on, and that it cannot be taken to another car by the original buyer.
correct me if i am wrong.

APJ,

Just 1 former owner.
Finance at 3.5% flat rate (ish)

Keevster,

Its simply a case of notifying RAC who transfer the tracker into your name, and send you out a triplicate form to fill in. You then set up the direct debit for the quarterly payments (or pay in full at start) and off you go. :D

Isn't it refreshing not having to trawl through dozens of pages of washing machines, and mobile phones to give your car advert a "bttt"?

:D

Oh yeah, bttt

Hi,

Nice car but not in the market at the moment. I see you can do finance at 3.5% ish. Do you have any more details as I may be interested in a loan.

Thanks

David

How come you can do finance? are you in the motor trade or is this a private sale?
What is the APR of the loan? I never could convert flat rate > APR !
Cheers

A good point John. Talizman if you would like to confirm that this is a private sale, I will unlock this thread. Chris

Why won't this sell? :(

Is it priced too dear?

What would be a fair price?

I thought £7,000 cheaper than new and only 10 months old, this would be snapped up, but nothing but timewasters...... :(

Thoughts?

Hi, there is one with ppp fitted and less miles for sale with a Subaru UK dealer for not much more money. I think that there is a couple of things when people spend this sort of dosh that they want. security is one and a dealership gives them this and if they are to consider losing this security they want to make a considerable saving and also the facility to do a part ex as well.

Thats a fair price TM.

I think the reason it won't sell in here is down to the fact that the age band on this board has dropped greatly from what it used to be, and boy racers don't have 23k.

I bet you'd sell it in Autotrader at that price, as I think its a steal.

Maybe so, but there also a hell of a lot at Subaru dealers for a lot more money.

In fact, the average price for a MY03 STi PPP at dealers is near to £25k, based on their stock on web.

Add to this the fact that 19" OZ wheels and new Toyo tyres don't come cheap..... Prodrive suspension on this one also, not to mention the other extras.

In light of this, I think my price is well fair as you cannot take away from the fact that it would cost you £30k to get a car in this order, new.

I understand what you mean about security from dealer, and thats the only area I cannot match, but the car can be financed via main dealer and has the backup of a 2 and a bit year warranty remaining. :)

I bet you'd sell it in Autotrader at that price, as I think its a steal.

Thats what I thought too, but I was told I'd have to persevere with the advert, and at £106 a fortnight, its damn expensive perseverance! ;)

Cheers guys.

btw, micky.....

Exact same thing happened to me when I test drove a CTR in 2001....

Had the car on the motorway and the salesman was explaining the V-Tec and how it comes on song above 7k, so he told me to give it some after he has bounced off the rev-limited on the demo.....

I looked down at the speedo and it had 170 miles on the trip meter.

I asked him how many actual miles the car had covered as it seemed to be on "trip meter".....

"That is the miles" he said.......

D'oh

Brand new car getting the tits razzed off it....

And some unsuspecting punter will have ended up buying it with 4,000 "demo" miles on the clock, and probably paid full list price as they were quite rare at the time.......
