Careful! Get the car booked in at someone who knows for a checkover ASAP.
...And make absolutely certain you're running Optimax and octane booster until/unless you've got a KnockLink fitted, or otherwise know it's running safely.
If it's been modified, it could well have been set up for Japanese fuel, in which case it's likely to be detting if you run it on UK pump fuel alone.
