Rules for round 3:

1. No image will be greater than 800 pixels along its longest side.
2. Image overall will not exceed 120kb.
3. Image must have been taken within the competition period, which is from 20th Jan to midnight on 15th Feb.
4. Each submitter can change their posted image at any time (using edit function).
5. Maximum of two (2) images per submitter, per competition.
6. Digital manipulation is permitted in order to correct technical issues such as dust or noise on the image. It is not permitted to add or remove elements of the image or to apply digital 'effects'.
7. Image must be hosted so that it appears correctly in the competition thread and must remain so for the period of the competition including voting. Any images that do not appear correctly won't poll may votes, obviously.
8. Image must be titled but not on the image itself. I.e. some bold text naming the image should be posted at the same time as the image itself. In addition, any details of the image itself should also be posted (this is a learning exercise after all). E.g. EXIF data or maybe just aperture, shutter speed, equipment used.
9. There will be no posts in the competition thread other than those for the posting of competition images. All discussion should be held in other threads.
10. Judges decision is final.
11. Images will meet the requirements of the ScoobyNet T&Cs

Over to you... post your entries here and discussions here (http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/showthread.php?t=293385&page=1&pp=20)

Hi Folks

I'm posting this in both but will get it deleted from competition thread in a few days.

We have a slight problem with regards to editing post, so for instance if like myself you've posted two entries already and you want to change them you won't be able to via original post.
What i suggest is either rename the file, obviously those using web based uploaders won't be able to,or remove the file from server this will produce a red box, you could if you want (i will be) create a little image thats says something like "Has newer images futher in thread" to let peoplle know it's not your image being down :)

All the best and some good shots again :)
Si
