Just had the Regs for the 2004 British Rally Chamionships, and see the Prodrive Subarau Grp N Cup. Any one know what cost could be expected to be to contest the rallies. Entry fee's etc.

An attempt to boost entries, perhaps? It should have been run, like the Evo challenge, in the Kumho tyres championship. That way it would have helped to keep costs down a bit. Oh, and the budget to do a round of the BRC. Allowing that you actually own the car, not hire it, you won't get much change for 1 event from £3000! S55DRJ 18 January 2004, 22:57 last time i got regs, it was about £1000 entry fee, so £3000 has to be around the mark, if not a bit more. johnnynomates 20 January 2004, 21:34 Thanks for the info, how does it cost so much? £3,000 per round! Whats the entry fee's. mark@wrx 20 January 2004, 22:07 I think its about £800 this year. I know Winter rally is £495 in the Kumho championship, for example. johnnynomates 21 January 2004, 22:55 Thank you all for thr info. I think i'll sit out this series. mark@wrx 21 January 2004, 23:38 We're currently waiting replies from prospective sponsors for the Kumho championship. Might hear something this week..... |
