Not had my Scooby long and it flies from Leeds to Newcastle and back most days :D. Trouble is stones keep smashing my spot lights. I have had to replace 3 already and noticed a hole in the N/S lens @ the weekend images/smilies/mad.gif. These are costing me a fortune, anyone know where I can get them at a reasonable price other than Main Dealer? Also I understand I can get lens protectors. Anyone care to enlighten me? It's a year 2000 model.

I bought the standard (oem) clear covers from Graham Goodes.......

(But, this was after 2 sets of fogs and I've not fitted them, as I'm fitting PIAA driving lamps and 'making' the covers fit)

I assume from your name, you have a P1. Unfortunately, the std clear fog covers won't fit the P1 spots. I'm told they will fit the PIAA driving lamps if you rotate them 180 deg and use some X-bands to hold them in-place.

I'm ordering some lenses to try it on my RB5.

Your only option maybe to fit some sticky plastic covers like the stuff from Armourfend.

Sorry if I have misled. The P1 is my reg plate that I have owned since before Scoobys were even thought of!

Used to run for the England 200m relay team - I was 1st off hence P1

Love the car though

Stefan - err - well spotted - I didn't twig the P1 connection -

Sorry, guess they won't fit then...

On the subject of PIAAs, I've not rotated them - I've actually pushed them on as far as they go, then used 3 long black cable tie to hold them in place - these go over the cover, in the location tags on the covers and behind the 2 screws in the piaas. I can pick up the lamp by the cover, so I reckon that they'll stay put -

If anyone would like a piccy, I can take one tomorrow...

PS _ That'll teach me to post before refreshing - Maybe they will fit - What model is it then matey ?

David's very good and they were here within the week.

Have a look here (http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?ThreadID=273722) for x band fitting.
It keeps the OEM covers in place but also allows you to easily remove them for cleaning etc
