The AA tell me that "ALL" mods to a car come with documentation when you buy them!!

After making them understand that the sum of my 15 yr history is a few MOTs..........they told me to take the car (PUG 205) to a peugeot dealer so that a comprehensive list of mods can be produced!!! To$$ERs..........I thinkin of joining the inner city boys on police camera action with no ins/tax or MOT!!!!!!!!!! (not really...gotta concience!)

Your insurance assessor will make you aware when he starts poking around it!

qoute (they told me to take the car (PUG 205) to a peugeot dealer so that a comprehensive list of mods can be produced!!!)

say sure if they will refund the cost to you!! AA suck anyway, when my mum left them to go to another insurance company they would not give her the full NCB that she was intitled to, though with a fight (thanks to the new insurance company gettin involved) they did give it.

give Liverpool Victoria (http://www.liverpoolvictoria.co.uk/customer/protecting/motor/introduction.htm) a try, they dont mind mods.
Mind you you do have to be over 30 for the scoob but I doubt it would be the dsame with a Pug.

My Bro (back in the early 90's) had a fully rebuilt Mk2 Mexico which had been engine blueprinted- only prob was the logbook said it was a 4 door 1.2 Escort and had been previously insured as a 1.4 Mk2 escort. He had more fun than ucan imagine when he got pulled for speeding....

The AA are a joke for insurance. Last year I phoned them for a quote and they insisted that all imprezas are Jap imports and I couldn't have bought a UK impreza from a UK dealer. They could not be persuaded otherwise. Needless to say they did not receive my £1000+ annual donation to the insurance industry.
