no worries mate.

I missed this rally last year when they took a year out. I quite like the weirdness of the Lightwater Valley stages bit. It seems strange them using the footpaths as the stage. Good fun though.

If you get any info on the stages and times, please can you post em fella?

I always seem to have to beg and borrow for infomation on this one.

Have a good day at work on Saturday, dont eat too much of ya birthday cake and we'll all be thinking of you as the 6r4's roar past:rolleyes:

Ste,The RAC use to run a stage through Lightwater back in the good ol` days ( when I was a lad, with hair even) it was amazing to have Group B cars rumbling past my front door(oh so many memories & stories to go with them).
I dont have any info. There`s nothing on their website, as yet.
Sat. night I`ll just have a few quiet shandy`s & a curry. ;)

Neil,

I missed the rac group b days due to me mum & dad not "geddin it on" early enough. (selfish pair of good for nothing parents )

I just got the tail end of the national group b stuff just before it was banned.

I remember Guisborough Woods (My Local) in about 85 ish being used on the york National or Mintex with Mikola (I think.) (I was only 13!) in a Quattro going through.

It was cancelled on its return run cos of the snow. :(

That was the only time I was able to see Group B rallying ...shame really cos the Wilson driven Quattro at Croft last month was awsome. It sounded and went just like the ones on my group B vid.

Guisborough was used in 89 or 90 for the last time :( It was such a cool stage too and quite lidderaly 3 minutes walk from my house.

Marku Allen was in a Legacy along with Mcrae just learning his craft! Thats when I made a vow to have one me self when I could afford it.

As you say the memories......Drifts off with his parker on.....

...... and comes back again:D
