The map light seems to have gone on the driver's side in my MY00 wagon.

Before I head off in my usualy kack handed way and break things, thought I should ask what the correct way of getting to the bulb is. It looks like the clear plastic cover should just prise off, but would like to make sure!

yes it should just prise off with a small screwdriver, from memory I think the bulbs are Halfords type 233 - but don't quote me on that:)

Cheers - once I have the bulb in my grubby little mitt, finding a new one shouldn't be too hard (as long as I don't break the bulb getting it out!)

funnily enough, I had problems with mine just this weekend!! - the bulbs hadn't gone tho'. took them out - put em back and they worked! The bulb holder is a very flimsy affair - so a bad contact could be your problem - give them a 'twiddly' before u start buying new ones....
