Does anyone know if its possible to change the speedo and rev counter etc in a UK MY00 car to the STi unit with the central rev counter???? has anyone tried this.

Yes is possible but I tried it the other way round (UK INTO JAP)
There are some minor differences ie sti has no key/immob bulb,uk has no seatbelt warning.

I'd be interested to see if it could be done too, as I like the looks of the Sti dash, with the central, larger rev counter too.

Suppose we'd have to remember that our UK cars don't have the same red line though eh??
