dij 11 January 2004, 23:29 Im not sure if they'll fit v4 but been told will fit v6 sti.
Anyone got any idea if they will work on UK models? (with built in immobolisers in th ecu or transponder key)
dij 11 January 2004, 23:38 fitting is fairly simple, but remapping is needed by trained technicians.RC developements or Abbey motorsports can help.
CAN WARN YOU OF DETTING,INCREASE BHP,BOOST,TORQUE...........OK THATS ENOUGH
Im sure you get the point.
dij 13 January 2004, 01:56 is anybody there?

neilp 13 January 2004, 13:29 I have a my98 wrx import any idea if it will fit this? If so consider it sold as I was buying one very soon
Judge 13 January 2004, 17:06 Would this work on a uk99,if so I'm interested.
dij 13 January 2004, 20:55 I think there is a good possibility of fitting either car.Led to believe ther is some wires that may need to be changed around on the main ecu plug.
Im sure this has been discussed recently in a thread.
dij 13 January 2004, 21:06 Neil
if your wrx is a model with the later spec dash and digital ecu, then this may be a direct fit .Also is the coil pack slightly to the left of the car?the last wrx and sti classics have the same wiring and injector setup.
dij 13 January 2004, 21:15 sorry Scott no commander, but been told theyre not to much or to difficult to get.
I wouldnt know what to do with it anyway, the last time i messed with map or boost settings on my mates supra tt i fcuked it rite up.

Kendo 13 January 2004, 21:59 Is that the AVC-R boost controller ?
dij 16 January 2004, 00:22 No sorry, just boost control solenoid, map sensor ,wiringpipes etc
its not a unit that sits inside tha car with knobs/buttons(the boost control kit)
or a screen/display.
dij 17 January 2004, 19:20 This is a highly recomended uppgrade, especialy on sti models.
Jap imports are prone to detting due to the lower octane in british fuel.
This unit can adjust fueling to suit 97ron fuel.
It will also give you shick loads of power on top end and mid range (higher boost pressure.
A 'must' on cars that have been de catted fully.
dij 17 January 2004, 19:22 Anyone?
dij 19 January 2004, 23:07 Im considering using this ecu on my own car
would anyone be interested in a factory STi V5 ecu?
????????
????
Still prefer to sell FC spose
dij 19 January 2004, 23:10 Unless I come across another lady driver in an M3 e46

dij 20 January 2004, 19:41 Going by that info it is this one:
GC8/GF8 (D - E type) 96/9 - 98/9 EJ20K 414-F005 415-X001 415-A001
Although it is supposed to be for a 1999 model.

bebeu@free.fr
dij 27 January 2004, 00:38 The serial number is
414 F005
I purchased it for a 1999 STi 5
bebeu 27 January 2004, 00:46 so its not for 99 :(
GC8/GF8iD`EŒ^j 96/9`98/9 EJ20K 414-F005
GC8/GF8iF`GŒ^j 98/9`00/8 EJ207 414-F003
:(
dij 27 January 2004, 00:49 Well actually
as far as I am concerned it is for a 99/00
that is what I was told when I baught it
bebeu 27 January 2004, 01:02 you see that is not possible
