I have a 3 gauge pod fitted to my Y2K scooby. All the dials are of "RACIMEX" manufacture. I am after an Oil Pressure Gauge. Subaru UK say they cannot supply that make. Does anyone know where I can get one please.

MrDBM 12 January 2004, 10:06 I've got exactly the same type in my MY00 - Racimex actually have their own website, IIRC they're Dutch. You might be able to order a replacement directly from them, other than that you're probably looking at 3 new guages from a UK supplier. (hat match obviously) What's the problem with it, I think mine's got an intermittent fault, but the dealer says it's fine? scoobynson 30 January 2004, 19:17 im in the same boat. need a sender unit or gauge not sure which. oil press drops off past zero at idle when hot. had pressure checked ,car is fine runs high if anything (7 bar when revved) have you found a supplier yet? and is your sender fitted on an L shaped bracket. does your oil ligt come on dash or in pod when unstarted? chiark 01 February 2004, 22:19 Racimex is fitted to a lot of Dutch imports at the source. For parts, I'd try the dealer who supplied my MY00 - Gertjan van der Velde. Email him gj_velde@wish.net, or phone +31 186 661556, and tell him Nick sent you :D There may be an easier way, but Gertjan (pronounced hett-ian) is a very helpful enthusiast. Cheers, Nick. |
