At the moment it is standing at 500 quid, with 2 days left and 11 bids

I dont know how much they retail for, this is a company that is selling it not a million miles from where I live, and were even happy to let it go for less than the reserve which was 300 quid, probably the reason the bids have gone up

The american ones go for a few thousand dollars, but they cant be that expensive to make !

It is a professional roulette table and probably worth far more than £500.

I guess you have looked into the cost of a roulette wheel? as recently I saw a 1/3 size one sold for nearly £2000

Sonic I honestly think for you to make a decent table out of a solid hardword will cost 300 - 400. With finishing materials I think this project would cost 500. If you are seriously thinking about getting a table I would keep a close eye on this one.

And obviously if you do buy one and need someone to test it out I am available :)

Well my Bro-in law is interested in it as well

Yep I know what you mean about the proper roulette wheels, saw some for 2 grand second hand in a poor to fair condition !!

I am keeping my eye on the auction, maybe me & my bro in law could go halves on it

The downside is I have a 7ft Superleague Pool Table taking up space where a roulette table would go, however what might be a better idea is just to have a top made that will fit over the pool table, as it is 9ft x 5ft there would be sufficient overhang to have seats/bar stools around for players :)
