Did you get them from Scoobysport?? I've been waiting for mine since early November. There's still o sign of them, despite an email from Pete Croney saying that the last of the lot (including mine, I presume) were being sent out from SS on Tuesday evening...

Do you not have a relay?
The accepted way to do the wiring is with a relay, any 4 or 5 terminal on/off type will do, but with a fuse on top is easiest and neatest. Fuse needs to be 25A for 120W bulbs.

Take a thick red wire from a ring terminal on battery +ve to relay terminal 30, or via an inline fuse if relay doesn't have one built in.

Connect terminal 87 (via piggy-back connector if only one terminal) to the light +ve's, ie: the bulbs.

Connect terminal 85 to the headlight mainbeam feed: best way to find it is with a circuit tester, and with mainbeam selected, it will light up, or show a voltage. Connect to this wire with a scotchlok, or strip a bit of insulation back, wrap, solder, and re-insulate.

Connect terminal 86 to a suitable earth or battery -ve.

Don't forget to put earths on the lights, either by ring terminals (mine go to one of the headlight bolts, the one under the grille), or preferably, direct back to battery -ve.
