Mad Gypsy 08 January 2004, 12:13 Go
RussBoy 08 January 2004, 12:48 As somebody who bought a very similar spec Type R 6 months ago for the same money but slightly higher mileage I'd have to say this is good money IMHO - these cars need to be driven to be fully appreciated, they're fantastic! Sensible mod doing the oil pump too as that'll save someone a few quid in the long run.
BTT for a fellow Type R'
Mad Gypsy 08 January 2004, 15:44 Thanks M8. I'm reluctant to sell to be honest, oh well.

Mad Gypsy 29 January 2004, 15:11 Just had a time waster come and look at the car. Said he wanted it, then spoke to sparsh1ts Subaru in Botley who told him that you can't get the parts for an import anywhere in the country! The tw4t beleived them!
I think this is a good enough excuse to keep it.

TVR Gary 29 January 2004, 16:41 This is the only scooby variant i would consider part ex'ing my STi8 for....
free BTTT for ya
Mad Gypsy 29 January 2004, 22:49 Not happy with the STI8?
Mad Gypsy 30 January 2004, 11:44 top
TVR Gary 30 January 2004, 12:50 Yes mate i love the 8 its a great car but i love the look of the two door type R ....... mmmmmmmm
Mad Gypsy 30 January 2004, 22:01 Sell yours and buy mine.
Have you driven a Type R? I drove a STI8 PPP, other than the brakes, I felt mine was better in every department.
I'll try and get a pic up as soon as I get the chance.
I know I'm bound to say this, but it's the nicest Type R I saw when I was looking around. There's something about a black scoob, looks meaner than any other colour.
I'd like to keep it, but I can't have a 996 and a scoob. D'oh!
It's the only car I've had that I've swore I'll own again.
talizman 05 February 2004, 23:17 Mad Gypsy,
Dunno if you have sold this yet, but there is a guy on SIDC looking for one....
