£200? £250?

As I have a set in the garage all in VGC with 6mm tread on all tyres (I'll mail poics if you need 'em)

Going to AWD (Perth) on Tuesday pm the off to Chester so if they are what you need them I can leave them there!

If you've not got hold of a set, I've got a set of silver 5 spoke 16" with Bridgestone RE010 tyres 5mm tread. Rims have never been kerbed or scratched.

Yours for £250. (I'm in Kilmarnock)

I don't have a digi camera so I can't post pics however the wheels are in perfect nick and were swapped out from my 99 MY UK Turbo.

They are the 5 spoke style not the revised 6 spokes from the 00MY. They had only done 5K miles. They are currently lying up in my loft taking up valuable space.

Sounds promising In particular how would you describe the condition of the tyres. What is the level of wear as a % of the new tyre. Are all tyres worn evenly and most importantly are the shoulders worn (i.e fun on roundabouts, etc). The reason for doing this is that I'm selling my car and my alloys are a little tatty and the tyres are bald. I want to buy a set of alloys such that anyone viewing the car will regard the alloys as in good condition and the rubber as having some life left in it. Would you say yours are suitable?

Cheers

Saxo,
I replied to your latest post but IT must have failed as it has appeared? The tyres are all evenly worn and have never been used on track days etc. My Scooby was garaged during the winter so the wheels are as good as you would expect. At approx 5mm of tread there's plenty of life in them. Consider the cost of 4 new Bridgestones on their own, around £400 so I think it's a bargain for rims & tyres. I wish I could buy a set of 13" for my Mini for that price.

Let me know if you're interested. As I'm in Killie I could meet you in Glasgow if you want to see them.

Andy

Andy, I know its short notice but I'm heading through to Ayr tonight to drop off a cat and pick up a backbox (anyone else need something dropped off/picked up ). Killy is sort of on the way is it not?? If you were in I could perhaps swing by?

Feel free to email me as per profile and/or kmacleod@eastlothian.gov.uk
