For some reason our house suffers from excessive dust levels, me and the wife are always cleaning the place, but come a day or two later you can see the dust levels building up again. Are there any measures to control this, is the hoover we use perhaps not up to the job?.

The dust must be coming from somewhere but where? Do you have warm air heating or floor boards with gaps between them?

The house is carpeted throughout, we have gas central heating, that's about it.

Try using a damp duster for a few weeks. This collects the dust in the duster not on the floor. Use a clean duster every time you dust.

Swiffer! :D:
Also, clean out the filters on your hoover.

Most dust is apparently human skin, so wrap yourselves in clingfilm.

Feel free to send this top tip into Viz :D
