My son was screaming the house down from 1.00 this morning (getting teeth) at 3.00 I decided to take him for a drive in the car to put him to sleep. I was comming through Magherafelt at about 3.30 heading home with him quiet and not sleeping, saw the Police standing by the road but they didn't stop me. They picked me up out the Castledawson road and puled me in. I asked why and they told me they didn't need a reason! Obviously it was because of what I was driveing. At least they weren't sitting in the station smokeing. However if someone had stole my scooby I dont think a ford focus would have caught much!

Must have been very bored or else on their way back from a 24hr station or chippy (if any were open) Interesting that they are out at that time of night - thats a time you would expect to be `safe` from the fuzz. Need to be careful round the clock now. Where abouts where they sitting? Where you speeding - Very doubtful with a child on board though.

I saw them on Broad street in Magherafelt, one was on the footpath up the middle of the road with the red light and mustn't have seen me till I was past. It looked like they had pulled over a boy racer/blacked out pimp mobile. I was only doing about 20 mph as I was falling asleep because I had been up from 1.00.

I was surprised to get pulled by them as well.

Just goes to show ya never know when to expect them . .

In all fairness are you complaining that they stopped you or had they a bad attitude? :confused:

Are we really saying we want times of the night with no police presence about,God help us all in that case! :(

Given the amount of violent housebreakings at the minute I'd certainly welcome a more visable cop presence 24/7!

I wasn't complaining, just surprised to see them at that time of the morning.

If someone stole your scooby the wouldn't do a damn thing you mean.
The ford focus is just for carrying their fat a*ses' and speed gun around.
