stevoWRX - it just needs someone from the region to find a route and to be willing to lead it on the day.
That's what Chris Garner does for us, and it works very well

We were all very careful on the day. Must have been going pretty slow to take some snaps from behind the wheel. Having an inch or so of snow made me realise how unprepared us Brits are. No winter tyres, chains, shovels.......or common sense

Barking is NOT the word for it!!!
Can't talk for the others but I cr*pped myself more than once,on the decent!
Side ways down the staircase in a six week old car NOT FUNNY!
But a good run!

Well the snowy roads were somewhere up around

Not gonna be too specific as we never publish the route.

Cheers, pics aren't bad from my little Ixus. Not quite the standard of your beast Paul. Didn't manage to get a pic of the terrorist, covert training I suspect

Glad you enjoyed yourself, I couldn't make it unfortunately due to work commitments. Looking forward to coming along to one of your Exmoor runs.

Good pics!
Are the tire marks in the first pic someone doing a U turn, or someone having a "moment"?

Heh, they weren't anything to do with us. While we were getting the panda, (and then our own cars) to the top, a group of 2 or 3 Suzuki SJs had come up the opposite way, and while we were up there an old Landy came up too. I guess the marks were from one of them (or someone else who came up and thought better of it)
