Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would wish everyone a Happy New Year and at the same time remind everyone that the next TTS meet will take place on Tuesday 6th January 2004 at the Dun Cow, Bournmoor. Meet in the Car Park at 7:30 ish.

There will be plenty of chance to discuss the forthcoming events for 2004. Especially the TTS Scalextric World Championship which is scheduled for February.

Everybody is welcome at these meets. Even Cumbrians!!!!!

I'll not be at this meet Martin.....as you know...I'm out in Texas (well.....The Gulf Of Mexico at the moment!!)

Checked out the Subaru stuff in this state and sent a few mails to folks on the NASIOC.
The results are that it's cheaper to buy on-line than it is to go to a shop/outlet and after checking the prices here, it's actually cheaper in the UK for most stuff!!!!
Example: bonnet vent splitter thingy: UK about £70, USA about $170 (approx £97 at the moment)

I thought about wheels, but they aren't really any cheaper either and although I do have the perfect *ahem* "import duty dodging" method of getting them home, I don't think it's worth the hassle!!

Have a good first meet of 2004...let it set the standard of things to come!!
