View Full Version : DEFI gauges in DIN slot AndyMoody 31 December 2003, 16:12 Anyone put a set of 3 gauges in a 03 STI or WRX single DIN slot with a single DIN audio above? Any pictures appreciated. Thanks, Andy. kevin stanton 31 December 2003, 17:05 autometer gauges might fit, but i'm sure the defi gauge diameter is too big for a din slot. but i may be wrong. Kevin :) AndyMoody 31 December 2003, 17:10 Oh.......DIN size gauges on Defi website though. Andy. alcazar 31 December 2003, 17:33 Defi's available in 52mm,and 60mm. Alcazar Apple 31 December 2003, 18:58 Andy, Are you meaning the one-piece item that holds 3 gauges, i.e. http://www.defi-shop.com/product/din/images/naname_white.jpg http://www.defi-shop.com/product/din/images/naname_black.jpg I'd be interested in some fitment piccies as well if anybody's done it yet but there's a bit new on the market. I'm also asking Mike at Scoobymania about these... Apple AndyMoody 31 December 2003, 19:35 Yes they are the ones. I don't want to stick them on the top of the dash in a pod. Andy. alcazar 31 December 2003, 19:55 Top of the Dash!Top of the Dash!Top of the Dash!Top of the Dash!:D: You can see 'em there without having to take your eyes far off the road. Alcazar Apple 01 January 2004, 14:26 Aye, but when you've already got a road angel and an Ipaq there, it's blackpool illuminations  Plus, how often do you "need" to check oil & water temp whilst "on a mission?" ;) boost I'd agree needs to be easily visible... care3 01 January 2004, 17:23 saw this earlier today. £22 http://www.impossible-performance.cwc.net/3pod_dina.jpg http://www.impossible-performance.cwc.net/3pod-din.jpg it states on the site:-Made from Poly and rubber, this 3 gauge pod fits into a DIN sized hole.Made so the gauges are faces towards the driver. Holds any 52mm gauges. available in RHD http://www.impossible-performance.cwc.net/meters.htm |
