I have adouble garage with a flat roof. This roof leaks but as we are replacing it this summer I would like to knbow where I can get a plastic sheet to cover it for the next few months. Something in a dark colour would be best.

Have you ever seen a bin bag big enough to fit a double garage in?

Chaz,

Any builders merchant should be able to help.

But failing that I bought several large sheets from Focus (might have been B&Q) which was labelled as damp proof membrane. Very thick plastic, i.e. doesn't rip once you have nailed it to anything. Was about 12 foot x 12 foot. Couple of those glued together would last a while.

However, it was a fairly bright blue so might not be suitable.

Cheers

Ian

Just been pointed to a site by a friend. 20'X 30' tarpaulin (sp?) £30, can't go wrong!

Cheers for the suggestions
