loo in the kids bathroom is blocked- they claim its just excess paper from an extensive barbie cleaning campaign...hopefully its not a barbie!

anyway- 24 hrs later still blocked- loo fills and empties but takes a good 60-90 secs to do so.

what tool exist to poke down it? i assume plumbers have a gadget (a snake?) that they shove down...i'm hoping it might be cheaper to get one of those than get a plumber on xmas eve who owns one!

put a big carrier bag over ya arm, and have a bit of a fondall ;) just make sure you got one without any holes in, and another one ready to put the one on ya arm in,

Don't wish to alarm, but I helped a mate with this about 6 months ago, and it finished up as a demount the toilet pan job.
:(:

Loo roll, logs, and assorted nasties all over the floor!

yes
take the pan out and it should be wedged in the back!

Then chuck the freshner in the bin and dont buy anymore!!

On a worse note ,it may be blocked somewhere else in the soil pipe which could be a huge job getting it out .

But 8 out of 10 times i find them just wedged in the back of the toilet with paper wrapped round them.

good luck
