Do you have to use a Subaru dealer to keep your warranty?

I know some manufactures will still honor warranty claims as long as the vehicle has been serviced using genuine parts by a VAT registered garage.

I have just got a MY01 WRX which has 1 years Subaru warranty as it was classed as a ¡§Approved Subaru Used Car¡¨.

My nest service will be the 60K which will cost a arm and leg at the dealer but just a arm elsewhere ļ

Check up with the warranty people.

My "third party" warranty company only specified that it was a VAT registered garage, and that suitable parts were used. If you've got a "Subaru" warranty expect them to wring as much cash out of you as they can and demand you only use a registered dealership :(
