Question

All

I got my Scorpion downpipe fitted yesterday and I am very pleased with it. The Scorpion is linked to a magnex system.

I've noticed that at speeds of about 20-30 mph, the car now produces a light fluttering sound between 2/3000 revs. This was not there before and the sound is not coming from the engine, it does'nt sound like an exhaust rattle either.

Has anyone else noticed fluttering noices after fitting a downpipe?

Thanks

Sonu

A little bit of wastegate flutter i think, but then i could be corrected.....

Nothing to worry about though, mine use to do it to!

Perhaps you've got a pigeon in there...or should that be roast pigeon?
Seriously though, it may just be the turbo or wastegate noises becoming more audible.

Stef.

Ive got an identical noise or pigeon with my Falkland pipe.

I was thinking Wastegate, is it sticking maybe or is it supposed to sound like that??

I know exactly what you mean Sonu.
