MY00 K&N Induction kit
About time too...
I used to run a 57i kit on my old MY97.
I wanted the same when I upgraded to my MY00...it wasnt available so I took the pipercross route.
Let us know when you get one
Cheers

There are some rumours about the airflow sensor failing (due to induction kits) here in Sweden...vibrations and oil impregnated filters are said to be the cause...any thruth in these rumours?
Especially the airflow sensor on the MY00 is said to be very sensitive.
I'd really like to get that lurveley sound...and maybe hear the BOV working.

To Secret Agent Man:
Yes I think this rumor about the Airflow sensor failure is actually true!
I had a J&R (french made, by the way I don't recommend this one as it starts to "distort " after 10k) Induction kit fitted which is an oil type filter!
After 16k, first problem with Air flow sensor, car stopped and switched to "emergency mode" (sorry don't know what exactly that is).
I'm lucky as I have good relations with my Subaru déaler I got it replaced under warranty.
Now, I bought an A'pexi "dry type" induction kit (just like the Blitz, which is pretty expensive) when I went to Japan last month, It's very very cheap (9800 yen) and comes with all the fitments! The only disadvantage is that you can't wash it and therefore has to be changed after about 20 to 25000 kms.
Does anybody else out there having an A'pexi fitted? Any good (or bad) experience with it?
Please let me know, thanks!
