Cheers
caz1562 26 November 2003, 03:42 Another nightshift junkie here.......Teknopete had a RR day over at Star 2 weeks ago, sure it was costing them £35 a go but I'd guess that was a special price. Gives you an idea.
H18JGM 26 November 2003, 21:17 Ahh, I'm not the only night shift person making use of the companys net provisions for scooby surfing!!
Alright Derek, how you doing? Car back on the road?
Rgds,
Jamie McPherson
H18JGM 26 November 2003, 21:20 wooosh,
You work with big ears fonzy, don't you? Ignore me if u dinna!
Has he told u how much Wallace Performance charges for the ECU-TEK?
He's being a smart ar*e tw*t and winna tell me!
Jamie
Zeolite 26 November 2003, 21:30 Can anyone join the nightshift club?
caz1562 26 November 2003, 21:35 Hi Jamie,
Yip car is back on the road, only 63 miles short of completing the 1,000 miles. Car is going really well, I get it re-mapped at the weekend then I can hopefully apply WOT :D
sg72 26 November 2003, 21:46 The £35 was special for R/R day.
It's normally £70.
Least thats what they've charged me twice before.
Cheers
Steve.
Hope your car sings after the weekend Derek.
Was in Grangemouth tonight.(always raining when I go through now!).
wooosh 26 November 2003, 22:24 H18JGM,
Yea I work with Fonzy but he is back to back with me so I don't see him much. I have been round to Wallace regarding getting my P1 Tek-3'd. I think Gav at WP might do a good deal on the Ecutek as a "introductory" special offer but I don't know the price and wouldn't post it here either. It would only lead to "well he got it for this price, bitch, bitch etc"
Give him a PHONE (http://www.wallaceperformance.co.uk/)to see what he can do for you.
It's normally £70.
Least thats what they've charged me twice before.
Cheers for that. How much notice do they normally require?

sg72 26 November 2003, 22:42 Woosh.
You really have to phone and see when they can fit you in.
Can be upto a fortnight away.
Steve.
( R6 CDW ) 26 November 2003, 23:31 sg72 is correct, it is indeed £70, i'v booked up for this sat at 11am, hope i'm better condition this time( eh Steve ).
Chris
Frazer 26 November 2003, 23:49 £35? Everytime I have been at a RR day at Star its been £25 (and ive been 4 times with different car clubs)
Dougster 26 November 2003, 23:58 Frazer, Jim will spend more time helping you out for an individual session on the rollers.
The £25/35 is usually for 1/2 straight runs on an organised club day.
AFAIK.
teknopete 27 November 2003, 00:49 Yip we get a special rate on club days.
Hence why 9 times outta 10 they are oversubscribed ;)
And it`s less expensive to dyno a 2wd than a 4wd hence why Frazer`s clio was only £25 with whichever club he went with.
as Doug say`s though on a private session a lot more can be done,
i.e. setting the car up, use the dyno for mapping or what ever you want. Afterall your paying for the hour so just as well using it ;)
BTW was toying with arranging a small group for another dyno session soon. If I do is anyone interested ?
Pete
Dougster 27 November 2003, 00:53 Might be interested if I can run at 6am at around -10!!!
Got some bits going in soon.
Big Red might get bitten from the Great White!!!
wooosh 27 November 2003, 04:42 I'd be interested if the dates were OK (offshore). After the 9th December and before Christmas would be good. http://passionford.webheberg.com/forum/images/smiles/banana_dance.gif
caz1562 27 November 2003, 11:00 Pete,
I'm up for a RR session now that I'm 50 miles away from running the car in. Pat is remapping the car this weekend so I should be ready to go WOT :D
