Got a 1998 RRW not cutting edge but great in the real world, better than the R1 I had before on the road!!! less scary on poor road surfaces, has never missed a beat. good luck.

Got a 92 myself - but nowt diferent to a 94 - or did it go Foxeye then?? Anyhow, luverly bike - especially as mine now has 134 back wheel HP ..... AND 50mpg .....

Needs a bit of TLC at the moment which it may get over the winter.
If you're buying things to watch are wheel bearings, maybe warped disks, usual suspension and head bearing stuff as it's 10 years old. But the engines are fairly bullet proof. My valves were adjusted at 16K miles (when it was tuned) - now done 50K and not checked since...

Go fo it.

It's the only bike that I've had two off! I had a 1996 model and that was used in the IOM proddy TT race. It was absolutely ballistic and I loved it to bits. Unfortunately a muppet in a car decided that his bumper and bonnet liked it just as much and treid to mate with it on a roundabout.

Still, I replaced it with a 1997 RR-V Blade that I kept for 4 years. Fantastic machine and loved every minute of the 25k miles :D

They are great, but watch out for the usual crash damage and check that engine numbers and frame numbers match etc. Buy one with FSH and if not make sure that all receipts are there for "home" servicing.

Above all, enjoy it.

I've got a 99 RRX, had it for 3 years now.

No longer the fastest thing about, but for my use it's perfect.

I ride it all year round. Handling is still excelent, comfort is good (I used to have a GSXR750) and I can keep some waterproof trousers under the seat.

All this and 130 miles to reserve.

I'll probably keep it till it falls apart.

Blades are great all rounders, honda reliability is second to none, not the best from handling and power point of view compared to the state of the art road bikes now available but fast enough and bomb proof.
