I want to convert my outbuilding in to utility room, it has power (13A supr), but no plumbing. Its 10 meters (slightly up hill)from the existing plumb of the washing machine (in the kitchen). Wots required in running pipes (hot, cold & drain?) so that the washing machine can be used in the out building??

Do I need to dig a deep trench & provide insulaion to prevent against cracked pipes??

Outbuilding?
As in "not attached to the house? building?"

If that IS the case, then yes, you'll need a trench for pipework, and good insulation.
I'd be inclined to use proper underground pipes for the water supply, and put stop taps at both ends too.
As far as the drain is concerned, you have to have a gradient DOWN to the drain so that waste water will flow away.
Can you dig down and lay an underground connection to the nearest manhole/inspection cover? And don't forget a trap at the top end to prevent smells from coming back up it. Not difficult if you don't have to go too far.

You will also want the pipes at least 2ft into the ground to stop frost getting to them.

Shouldn't all new soil drainage be checked by someone qualified now days?

I'm not very up on drainage but the risk of frost damage to pipes can be lessened by putting trace heating around the pipes which is quite cheap.

Yes, the building is not attached to the house. If I look out of my kitchen window, it is at the end of the garden approx 10M away & slightly uphill.

I was hoping that I would be able to "T" in to the supplies for the hot and cold pipes that feed my kitchen sink?? and run a white plastic drainage pipe back to use the same drain as the kitchen sink?

A 2' trench is OK, but the pipes are gonna have to come to the surface prior to passing through my kitchen wall! Not sure how to handle this, ref insulation???

Getting the water board involved isnt really a sensible option as I guess that their access is quite far from the outbuilding.

Is what I am stying to do acheivble or should I forget the whole thing??

Should be do-able, you need to insulate the pipe well from below ground to where it enters the building, I'd personally forget the hot pipe, as it'd lose a fair degree of heat by the time it got out there, the washing machine should be able to heat the water!!
I'd be worth checking out if you have any sewer pipes in the garden, if you have then the waste could be put in there, rather than bringing back to the house!
For the cold underground pipe you should use the Blue mains supply pipe, with adaptors each end, you could even put it in a duct to help prevent stones piercing it! bit it should be bedded in sand either way!
Hope this helps.

My plans get worse...........as the outbuilding has no heating & is lacking insulation.....will the washing machine freeze??

It would have to be seriously cold for something to freeze IN a building, I have cars in a garage with no antifreeze, and they're fine!! Even down to about -5 outside!
