View Full Version : ok Mr Lapworth, you now who to call ukbob 17 November 2003, 22:47 the gardener in monaco! get well soon richard, but lets see colin back home in a scoob APJ 18 November 2003, 01:01 Rovanpera!!! C'mon Harri . . . D6ale 18 November 2003, 09:11 Rovanpera...gotta be joking! STE.W. 18 November 2003, 09:54 Whatta bout Colins bro??? Alistar would make a good stop gap and cheaper to run too!! If Col has made his bed for 2004 then he is going to be in an awkward postion if he comes back as burnsies temp! Still the box for Col Mac 5 would have a Scoob on it again. Woohoo. Look out, these rumour mill wheels are spinning too fast.:D Ste. MrDBM 18 November 2003, 12:53 McCrash!?!?!?! talk about being past your best... Great driver a few years back, and a spectacle to watch in action. But teams like consistency, and the ability to finish with a car reasonably intact. johnfelstead 18 November 2003, 21:40 I would like to see Martin Rowe get the drive. Martin is the 2003 Production Car World Rally Champion, winning the title in his Impreza against the works supported entry of Toshi Arai amongst many others. Martin was also the 1998 British Rally Champion. He is a really top bloke, a great ambasador for the sport and would work well alongside Petter. If the Production Car World Rally Championship means anything, then Subaru should support the winner of this series and give them the break they deserve, just as Citroen did with the Junior WRC title of Sebastian Loeb. If something positive can come out of Burnsie's illness, it would be great if that gave someone an oportunity they wouldnt normally have had. ANC 19 November 2003, 08:34 I think the fastest three drivers in this years WRC were Solberg, Loeb and Martin. If Ford do not commit to next years WRC, Martin might be the best driver available, if he hasn't signed for Peugeot already! Just a thought. Martin and Solberg used to be team mates at Subaru... Good Luck to Richard for a successful recovery allowing him to get back in the car. 333 19 November 2003, 13:37 Have to agree with John, It would be good to see Martin Rowe given a chance, he is a nice bloke & well as a very competent driver. Gave me his pirelli cap in Sweden this year after coming down the finish ramp, we were the only people in the crowd with a British flag :) Although my gut feeling is that Arai will get the seat. Richard T5NYW 29 November 2003, 00:46 I'm available :D well I have been waiting since 1980  David must have lost my phone Number  Tony [Edited by T5NYW - 11/29/2003 5:27:13 AM] oradba69 02 December 2003, 08:11 Petter showed his mettle this year. He will step nicely into the shoes of the 'senior' Subaru driver, so how about a younger person, I also like the idea of Martin Rowe. |
