With the devastating news about Richard Burns i'm sure you've all heard about now, i was wondering if anyone wants to donate anything to charities that work on detecting and curing Tumours/Cancer.
My thoughts were to set up a charity trust for Richard to use the money to donate to charities of his choice.
If anyone is interested then please reply to this topic and if there is enough interest i will take this idea to the next step and get it registered as a charity and get a bank account setup so that donations can be given.
Hope you all think its a good idea.
Please reply to this topic if your interested.
Thanks
Simon

I agree it would be easier to just give to charities but if you do it in Richards name it shows your support for him and i would hope that he could use his influence to raise awareness of Tumours/Cancer to the public. Tumours/cancer are always the things we like to think only other people get, it just brings it home that it can effect anyone. He could raise alot more money for charity than you or i maybe putting a £ in the next charity tin we see for cancer research.

Excellent idea guys! Could be something we could get all WRC drivers supporting.
I'd donate anyway!

If anyone wishes to send a message of support to Richard you can do this via www.craven-motor-club.co.uk as we have set up a page for those that wish to send him a message of support.
Richard is a long term member of Craven and was made an honory President upon winning the world championship.
