Wonder if anyone can help.

I had a Valliant Combi boiler installed about three years ago. Since turning on the heating for the winter I am experiencing some problems.

The timer is set to come on first thing in the morning and go off about 10am and then come on again about 5pm. It has been coming on in the morning fine but seems to vary when it comes on in the evning and last night didnt swicth on at all. I can hear the boiler fire up and see the temp reading is all fine but the rads just dont get hot.

I have also tried turning it to constant as I thought it may be the timer but again sometimes the rads still dont get hot for a few hours.

I dont have a thermo control as I have thermo valves on all the rads.

Sounds very much like the diverter valve is stuck in the hot water position after some water was drawn during the day.

To be honest get a vaillant approved engineer out, ring Vaillant and they will recommend someone local to you.
