'Ere mate...

...you've got some of my photos on there - despite the copyright statements on my web pages - and they've been carefully cropped to remove my watermarks too ;)

Absolutely no objection, but an attribution ('Photo by martin@millener.com') if you can back fit it, please

..or the boys will be round :D

Hi.......check them out carefully:D

If they're posted by 'The Big Cheese' then they're mine (sittin here looking at the negs ;) )- otherwise, I can't vouch for anything else on the site - you'd have to ask them. Let me know-not often i get accused of plagurism y'know:)

Seriously, I'd be interested to know which ones are borrowed (to use a polite phrase) - coz it isn't on - and it's pointless.
thanks

PS A working url would be cool as well - yours just keeps sending up 'Bad Request' statements:rolleyes:
thanks

All the ones that have F04E at the start of the filename (I only saw two in my quick scan to be honest) - that's a unique serial number programmed into my camera. I always wondered if it would ever come in useful:D

Do you mean my
http://www.milleners.eclipse.co.uk/wrgb2003/web/
comes up with 'Bad Request'. Can u please confirm, and I'll look into it

Martin

Thanks Martin!

Got me worried there! I didn't have your full url - so that's fine. I've posted asking that someone perhaps apologise if they've put anything up they shouldn't -perhaps you should contact Senior Marshall on this board-if you don't hear from anyone - as I'm not a moderator.

Thanks again:)

SwannyNZ - you've got me guessing on that comment mate:confused:

...anyway, I've just discovered that this Scoobynet forum is replicated on walesrallygb.com - I never knew that:D

...but it does explain why I've had a few emails about my images from people who are not Scoobynetters

I'm not sure where the confusion lies. What I meant was that, as OppositeLock pointed out other people have posted your pics, with even the same filename!

I copied and pasted the info below one of the images posted into here. I then went on to compare the an image from your site - It appears that they've sure gone to a lot of effort to remove your watermark.

Mmmmm - there are distinct similarities MartinM from the brief look I've had:confused:

Your Watermark would take some shifting! But, as you say, cropping is the easiest way around that. I'd keep an eye on the budget specialist mags as well - some are not too fussy about pulling things off the web eitherimages/smilies/mad.gif .

Does anyone get any satisfaction out there for passing off other people's stuff as their own?images/smilies/mad.gif I don't think it's a fair thread for this RallyGB forum though, and I'm not blaming anyone - I don't have any facts to hand (taken all day to upload my own stuff!)?!
Some great shots there Martin - analogue or digital (I can't afford £7000 for the digital equiv. of my old box brownie:) )?
