If this is the "Official" Wales Rally GB Forum how about some official repsonse to the complaints about this years event ?

Seems lots of people had problems with ordering tickets and programmes (we got 4 sets of programmes in the end - but thats better than none!).

And most especially from my experience the fiasco that is ever rising ticket prices and yet car parks that still arent big enough or well enough orgainsed to accomodate those with pre-booked tickets. (Car Park U).

If you want us to keep coming back someone needs to explain what went wrong......

The problem is not the size of the carparks but the organisation..... :(

The MSA / Rally GB blatantly lie about pay on the day tickets, all the stages we attended clearly stated "No pay on the day available" on the website.....

When you turn up there is a large sign saying "tickets £20"

At Resolfen J2 nobody even checked the tickets half the people in the car park had no car passes....

Then the poor sods who pre-paid for their tickets 6 months ago miss most of the stage because they have to park 2 miles away.
Us not included I might add, we ignored the marshall & drove to within 50M of the stage.

Paul, I seem to remember you being one of the loudest members of the "If you have not got a ticket you won't get in" brigade

This was by far the best organised since prices started to be hiked up (and to be fair, the price was the same as last year, this year)

It was a bit tight for time to watch all cars thru Crychan and then get to see all of them thru Resolfen...but we did it!!!

Parking was very smooth compared to previous years and tickets arrived within 4 days of booking.....they were sent recorded delivery and I'd be willing to forego this service and have them posted thru the door, as the programmes were. (being at work all day, I had to go and sign for them)!!

Very impressed, alot of lessons were learn't from last years debacle and praise is just as necessary and complaint, please pass my thanks onto to everybody too. RallyMarshall

Would agree about the paying on the day for Car Park J, what a joke, all ticket, if only, don't know if there were other problems with alleged ticket only car parks.

Needs to be addressed, makes the organisers look like a bunch of muppets???
