So how did all the forum members find each other in the dark! Some posts show a bit of smartie apathy was present!

Hi Flat, we did the Friday ticket and not a Smartie in sight. I'm still eating the contents of 2 Christmas size tubes that we had taped to the rear head rests. Only saw one car with Forum banner in when walking into the stages ('Polo' I think it was)

We only spotted one, a silver s or n-plate I think it was with smarties banners on each of his rear passenger windows.

Flying past us just after we got onto the M4(49) from Llanelli to head down to felindre, Saturday around 1.30pm ish.

Didnt spot a single forum banner at all, apart from mine.

Still had a good time though.

Only saw one forum member's car - Polo in a Laguna estate. And also saw only one smarties car - a Landrover 90 with the banners on the rear door.

i was in halfway with banners in every window never saw anymore there

saw a silver scooby @ crychan with smarties sticker in window but didnt see driver, and saw a land rover @ rhonda and actualy shook my smarties (hooray) only one though, was shouting smarties whilst camped but got no replies :( (yes we were fairly drunk).
was on a bit of rhonda were the helicopter tv thing was filming so shook em @ the camera. havn't seen the highlights yet.

i saw a blue scobby wagon on thursday morning at shakedown very nice it was too had both banners on dashboard i left mine home forgot them :( was in a white 309 done over 400 miles on thursday still on same tank of fuel :)

I thought everyone was takin the p#*s. with the old Smarties thing going on, We had a camper van with, Forum and Smartie Banners in the windows, a Smarties tube ariel, and when we were shaking our Smarties, and shouting SMARTIES, all we got were strange looks, and little kids hasslin ewe, Oi mister are they freebies, 3 tubes were consumed this way, How can you tell a 4 year old to F~~k O~f Kid, Show me your Forum banner first, you parents should feed ewe kids when you take em out to a Rally,We then modified our smarties shaking technic to resemble the; YOU ARE A WAN*ER. wrist action; (You Know the one , go on shake ewe Smarties, Tee Hee).. But then my faith was restored a little bit. When we got to Rhonnda early on Saturday evening, Drove right up to the stage and parked at the top of the hill, (which was the stage last year)
A Brilliant view of the fire works later on that night, A BIG THANX to every one who must of spent allot of hard earned on Fire works, they were "AWESOME" we had a fair sellection our selves,
I just hope that there were no accidents, and everyone stayed safe.
Parked just by us was an Escort with 2 dudes inside, and YES a Smarties banner in the window, Off I went to shake my Smarties at someone, who knew what the hell an Idiot in combats was doin shakin his Smarties about! He was quite shocked to see me as, he had not seen any Banners or Smarties shakers himself, His Username was; "I CAN ONLY AFFORD AN ESCORT." I think thats what he said his username was, my appologies if I am Wrong, several beers were consumed and the rest of that Tequila was demolished, over night.......
Got a bit cold in that wind on the ranges mind you, Brrrrr, Roll on next Year......

Saw a Ford Mondeo on Resolfen car park J with smarties stickers all over the back windows :D

Just got home - had a crackin weekend (And I got on the telly this afternoon!!!).

Saw Trugga on Resolfen, but he was busy packin his tent away and my mates were hassling me to get going, so no chance to talk to him... then I saw Mile Muncher this afternoon, but we were in a hurry to get out of the park so didn't chat for long.

Oh.... and I went to Parc Ferme on Saturday AM and saw RallyMarshal - controlled the gate to let all the drivers in and said god morning to them all!!!

we were shaking our smarties all over the place, on way out of halfway 2 carpark (by deers leap) we saw a forum banner and the reg ended with d e c (i think) also saw a car at same place with a banner in back that said "shake your smarties" waved our tube at em and they waved back (blond spiky hair getting changed) and also we saw lise's gold toyota yaris with their banners in and smarties banners
had a wicked time at rally this year defo going next year (only 10 months away)

Saw a couple, realised one was parked in front of us (Blue Discovery) at halfway - you were in an Audi A6 :cool: I had a quick chat with you about which way the stage was and how far :) Didn't realise you had a smartie's banner but we didn't realise as it was dark! :rolleyes: Saw it when I returned to the car, but couldn't hang around as we were due at the next one :(

Well we had our Smarties banners both on the front and back windows. Didn't see any other Smarties banners, we thought everyone was taking the piss and we were the only ones driving around with bloddy Smarties banners!

I saw one Smarties banner at Car Park K Resolfen on Saturday - I think it was username "El Matador" - and one at Car Park U Rhondda on Sunday but didn't get the username.

Didn't see a single one all Saturday.
I even resorted at one point to screaming 'SMAARRTTIIEES' at the Superspecial, but no-one responded.
Never mind. There's always next year.

Saw quite a few banners, but on cars parked up, with the exception of 1 in a black Scooby shouted Smmmmmmmmmmmmmmartieeeeeeeeees and stuck my thumb up but doubt if he/she heard above that lovely Scooby roar!!!!!!! (Leaving Halfway 2)

Bl***y cold wasn't it, went and stood by the trees between stages, change of temp caused my glasses to steam up!!

i had both banners on my roof box i saw mabey 5, 3 of which werent even on my list springbock,ap1and a transit cant remember what it was called
