Its true Vale Motors Yeovil have ceased to trade as a scooby dealer? which is a real bummer as I wanted some work doing to my car, does anyone know of any other Scooby franchised Dealer near Dorset??

yes im sure Ron..........Girl from the servicing dept phoned me up and told me, as my car was due to go there on Monday and told me that it had come completely out of the blue to them apparently!.I did actually wonder........ they kept telling me that they hadnt got a driver ? which I thought was odd!....all dealers have a driver to pick up customers cars etc dont they?

We'll see, I've mailed them directly to ask.
Two things don't ring true, I've been dealing with them for nearly four years, I've never seen a 'girl' on the servicing desk, and I've never known them to collect cars for servicing, so I'll wait for a reply to my mail before I panic, god knows where I go if it's true!

Sparshatts are already really busy at the mo anyway.
I was chatting to the service guy up there and he said they have got too much work on.

there's definately a girl on the service desk now as Ed Davis left about 2-3 weeks ago, he told me they would be selling no more new cars as they'd decided to not take up that part of the franchise, whether someones getting confused or it's the truth I will find out later as I have my car booked in for a 45000 mile service in 2 weeks time.

It's true, my service has been cancelled, all the staff have gone, :( , Kate did say a new dealer has been appointed in Bournemouth tho', although she didn't know who.

What the bloody hell are we going to do Now!...........I can see me going back to my dealer in the midlands the way its going!.............why isnt there anything in Dorset??......everybody seems to have a dealer except DORSET?

Just Spoken to Subaru UK Cust Service Really Nice guy there Steve Gledhill, who mentioned that yes the receivers were in yesteday at Vale but they are trying to source another buyer for the site,oh and yes.......Bournmouth it seems is on for a dealer at some point so all is not lost for us............PHEW!..well have to suffer it for the Mo though...interestingly though all Dealers have been dumped under new EU Laws.........they then have to re apply for a franchise, something to do with block exemption etc........so some have re applied and only want to sell cars, others only want to do servicing!.......so the chap from Subaru tells me!....what a night mare......hope this helps in some way guys.........Nick

Just got in and checked e-mail, no reply from Vales, I guess thats cos all the staff have gone!!
Oh well, hopefully when we do eventually get a dealer in Dorset, it'll be one worth having!!
