Right, I've sold some kitchen units (including the mixer tap)
What is the procedure for taking off the taps from the water supply?
I've got a Worcester 35cdi combi-boiler.
Help!!! :)

Cold: turn it off at the house stop-tap.
Hot: find the (probably) gate valve that isolates the hot water..a red handwheel is the give away, and turn it off. Probably either near the boiler, or near the hot tank if you have/had one.
Install screwdriver operated valves into the feed pipes to both taps before replacing them with whatever, in order to make this same job easier next time:):
PS: the hot water tap feed will probably drip while ever there is no tap, and no scredriver thingy fitted, as gate valves don't isolate perfectly all the time:):

:D:D
In that case then all you need to do is switch the cold off at the main.
open all hot and cold taps in house, flush toilet.
wait until water stops(a few seconds) and remove.
Put 2 blanks on the H+C pipes.
Dunc , corgi reg
(p.s.good boiler that one:))

Also remember to check the new taps are closed before opening the mains valve, not that I didn't of course.http://smilies.networkessence.net/s/otn/other/pain9.gif

kitchen taps can be a pain as space is usually tight, make sure you got the right tools, an adjustable basin wrench is a must. And a socket set will also be needed
