If the worst happens and you end up with a ticket, I did hear, in passing, in a pub, from nobody I know, or had ever seen before, or since, that........

all you need to do is ask for the camera calibration certificate. Apparently, due to budget and time constraints, many cameras are not calibrated as often as they should be.

Without a certificate, a good lawyer may argue that the conviction is unsound. At worst, you may at least get a delayed bill whilst they try to find the certificate..........

That is all very well BUT in order to see that certificate you MUST take it to court and I will guarantee it'll have a valid cert...hey presto you're £60/3pts fixed penalty is now 6pts and £300.

Too ways to look at this - were you actually speeding? if so take the fine, if not or you are 100% certain that you can succeed in defeating the system then take it to court and have you're say.

I plan to use my best defense against cameras - using my eyes and common sense!!

Last year the vans were on every route between stages - most people were driving sensibily - but there are idiots about as we all know - i work quite closley with the Police - and there is no way out of a ticket unless you car has been cloned and you can prove that you were not in the area - a woman locally has over £300 in London congestion charges and so far it has cost her £500 in solicitor fees

IF YOU DONT SPEED YOU DONT GET CAUGHT
