Can any of the South Wales contingent tell us where there are 24 hour supermarkets around the Cardiff / rally area.

Tescos' & Sainsburys websites aren't exactly full of store information.

No probs,

When coming off teh A48 from the east and going to Cardiff centre, Sainsbury's is on your right, accross an IMO carwash. You need to turn right at the traffic lights though (signposted Superstore).

Open 24h a day.

Further west towards the stages:

J36 M4 - 24hr Sainsbury's + Holiday Inn Express + Beefeater + Pines shopping centre with McD + KFC + Pizza Hut (although these are not 24hr)

J47 M4 > A483 Swansea (1.5 miles) - 24hr something or other

J46 M4 > Morriston - large Asda superstore I think it's 24hrs

24hr shoppin at Tescos in bridgend near to Margam stage

RXC- not holiday inn express, but Travel Inn next to the Beefeater,
Baggle brook.

Thats the one I know, apol if there is a holi express.

Tescos at the 465 not far from moto-way, iam sure its 24hr

Hotchy - I'd forgotten that one in Baglan, the Holiday Inn express is at Bridgend J36, although thinking about it it may be a Harvester not a Beefeater!!

Bottom line is there are loads of facilities right on J36 of the M4.

On the A483 in Swansea it's a Sainsbury's. Just keep following the road into town and turn left after the bridge. it's on youyr left.

24hr tesco's, do they shut on sat night???
anyway last year tesco's were very good to me and charged up my camcorder batteries for me! cheers!

All large upermarkets will close on Saturday night - Sunday trading regulations say you can only open 6hrs. My local tesco shuts at 10 on Saturday, so I guess others are the same.

Tesco's in neath just off the A465 will be open saturday night right through till 4pm sunday.

i find this quite strange how all of these grown men know the opening times of a supermarket........ Supermarket, is that not a lady thing.......

If you find yourself on the A470 about the third junction from Cardiff (sorry no number) there is a 24hr Tesco Will be signposted Treforrest Ind Est big sign, can't miss it from the road. Close at 10pm sat open 10-4 Sun. There is also a 24hr Tesco in Llantrisant and 24hr garages in Pontypridd, Porth (A4058 and I Believe there are some more further up the Rhondda valley.
