Well, I hope he is recovering ok, but does this not lead to questions now. As it does seem such a very simple ploy to "opt out" of competing in the Rally UK so he does not have to drive so hard as to attempt to keep his title.
I appreciate this does sound harsh and even nasty but, think about this before you shoot this down in flames. It is the simplest way out of not competing and having to defend his title, same as he "knows" when to slow down on a rally and say he "does not how the cars handles" which will not wash anymore with the Peugeot team boss, so how about this for his latest excuse.
So what is he going to come up with for the Subaru team in 04?
