Personally I will be willing Solberg on. Now that McRae has nothing to drive for he will be going flat out and that means either driving like you won't believe or crashing out!!! I will be supporting his Dad, Jimmy who I last saw at Cardiff Castle many years ago but I think Petter will get the title, if not the rally.

Come on Petter...while overtaking petter and many other drivers on the m4 last year, petter was the only one who smiled and waved back. He seems to be a really nice person and a top driver.

PETTER + Subaru for the Title............

I'm a Burnsie fan........ and to be honest i feel well pi55ed off he is not in the rally as any true British rally fan should be.....
First Alister dropped out now Burnsie....... Not looking good for a British win.

Being neutral in this discussion, I am very amused by the "British" concept...

I remember Burns loosing against Sainz in the SS last year and the whole Welsh crowd cheering...

Always looked like McRae has always had more fans than Burns.

A few years ago Burns and McCrae were head to head leading the rally and Burns had to stop to repair a puncture on stage just yards from where I was standing (putting him out of contention).

This p!ss take he got from the crowd was unbelievable, he's never been that popular compared to McCrae, his constant whinging about the car has not helped the last couple of seasons.

Shame he's out tho - usually does well on his home event.

Come on guys, where's your patriotism? Let's all cheer on Neil Burgess racing down the stages in his Mini.

Personally though I think he'd find it warmer in a pair of trousers.

When you see the standard of driving in the outside lane on most British motorways, I'm not surprised Burnsie passed out!!

Actually, I suppose I owe an apology to Burnsie (even though I'm not a fan), as I slagged him off last week on this forum for his third rate efforts on the last few rallies - he's obviously not at all well and therefore deserves our understanding. (Has anything been said about what's exactly wrong with him??)

I'll cheer for Solberg. When things are going his way he's got the McRae about him. Sainz, sure he deserves our support and Colin, for what will inevitably (I'm afraid) be his swansong.....and Neil Burgess in a 'mini'...I like Mile Muncher's suggestion of him WEARING a mini.....hang on a moment, if we're not careful, we'll get Camp David back on this forum !
