janacorn - minis ARE NOT exciting rallycars to watch! They might be nostalgic, but they are boring as sin!

i do believe you are very wrong i won a trip with neil burgess at pbrc live and that is anything but boring!

anyway - if there are only two of you that need to kip, then it is simple. 1 sleeps across the back seats and the other across the front. Both with sleeping bags, but the front occupant should take an extra pillow to smooth out the gear lever/ handbrake area!
A really tall person could even open a window to stick their feet out(if its not too cold)

they might be fun from the inside, and maybe with a bit of imagination they might be competitive, but they cannot be described as exciting to watch in a forest!

we will have to dissagree about minis I suppose (never did like them), and the boring comment can also be applied to most of the 4wd card that will be out too tho! How many of the 140 or so cars will be driven for a finish rather than to have a real go? not entertaining to watch either (maybe that is another thread????)

sleeping in the car is the cheapest and best way, even though its not comfy on sports seats!
