IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION AND FROM AN ANSWER I GAVE ON A SIMILAR TOPIC, IF YOUR CAR IS BIG ENOUGH, TRY INFLATING AN AIRBED IN THE BACK.(BACK SEATS FOLDED DOWN OF COURSE), YOU DON'T GET MUCH HEAD ROOM BUT HELL IS IT COMFY.

Very cold and a couple of smelly portaloos. Not all stages had any food vans when I went so don't make the same mistake as me and take some food with you.

After WRGB i will have slept in my car 6 nights this year lol.
Just wind the front seats right down till they hit the back ones and bobs your uncle. Get yourself a sleeping bag that is meant for sub zero conditions and you will be fine.

Take a sponge or something to clean the inside of the windows in the morning as they will be very wet.

Noobs just don't how warm the GBRally has become. Back in the "Good Cold Days" of the RAC a foot of snow was normal in Cropton Forest in '93 (does anyone remember that?)

Tips:

- do sleep in a hat. Looks stupid, but feels great when you wake up
- don't be too ambitious about russling up a Full English in the mornings, more than likely you wont be arsed. Coke and Crips do the job just fine.
- do try to perfect the technique of partially unzipping your sleeping bag and urinating out of the car door, rather than having to "boot-up", leave your bag and brave the elements.
- if you get the choice, choose the side without the steering wheel.
- your gloves WILL get wet. Last thing at night put them in the bottom of your sleeping bag. The next morning they will be nice and dry and toastie.
- if you stand on a corner, do keep your mouth shut when a car goes past. The taste of Welsh gravel lingers in the mouth for days.
- in between stages, do take every possible opportunity for a "McSh*t"

Most importantly do enjoy the cars, do say "good evening" to peeps who wander past your car, do share beer, and remember that fireworks fly much better when aimed into air rather than people!

Definately remember the dunny role and a tourch incase you are a a few km from dunny dont want to squat on a thorn bush. Plenty of lager barbi and fireworks. Pillows always sleeping bag 40 blankets big buxxum lass.

:D

The services on the M4 become a popular stop off for a wash with hot water and quick brushing of the teeth.
