AFAIK GEMS is equivalent to MOTEC etc as a fully programmable ECU

You're right Midlife. GEMS is a fully programmable ECU. Comes with antilag, launch control, etc, etc. Gussy are you coming down that day?

I'm still using the standard database that came in with the Road Angel when I got it. I have downloaded the Software from the Blackspot site but as I'm running a 133MHZ pentium 2 with 32MB RAM on Windows 95, no USB etc I need to upgrade the PC first !!.

Have you thought about a Yaris T sport ?? I've had a couple of Yaris's as courtesy cars (Border Toyota in Carlisle... sound place) and they are great fun to throw about :D :D.

Do Skoda's do a chuckabout Fabia ?? Ask Steve Sherwen :) but don't go to Carlisle and "drop the soap in the shower" at the dealer's.

skoda rs is £12k on the road and they are a fly machine

Skoda Fabia vRS has 130 PD diesel (128 BHP) but lots of torque. It's not been written up much but the same engine in the Seat Ibiza 1.9TDi seems to deliver :)

Take a look at the C2.. :) , the rear window is about 2 inches lower than the front one ...very strange..
