Hi, can someone help me find a hotel in Cardiff region or somting like that. Also I would be grateful for any tips on how to get around to the stages, do I have to rent a car?
I arrive 5. and leave 10.

If you want to be central to the goings on, then i suggest you should look for a hotel or bed & breakfast in or around Swansea..
The only thing you'll be near to in Cardiff are the SuperSpecials, and its a good 2 hour drive to main stages... the full list of accommodation providers around swansea can be found in the tourism section of www.swansea.gov.uk, for instance a cheap one with central city location is www.windsor-lodge.co.uk at around £27 per night for single room... but you'll find plenty on the outskirts too...

Brechfa / Trawscoed / Rheola all within 30-45 mins drive from outskirts of Swansea...

If you want to get even closer to these stages - closer to Brechfa, Trawsgoed, Halfway and Crychan try the b & b's in some towns villages in West Carmarthenshire like Llandeilo... a local tourism website - www.tourlink.co.uk has all accommodation listed in these areas (have a search by town - those nearest the stages)... Llandeilo would be good to stay at.. in this area they also start at around £25 per room for a night...

I would look to rent a car if i were you... are you flying in..? If so book now because i would think rental providers will be booking up quickly at Cardiff/Bristol airports...

As for where to go when you get the car - download the maps from the Wales Rally GB site, bring a map and away you go..!!

I have found myself a fine hotel in Cardiff City :-)
It's only the matter of lift I haven’t figured out yet, I might try the thumb so look out for a man, around 30 years old, with Norwegian flag and Wales GB Forum banner one the backpack:-)
