Can anyboby give me instructions on removing the Bonnet Scoop from a MY97, as some nasty people have tried removing mine at the weekend (probably for thier Ford Orion), and have cracked it and i need to take it off to do a temp repair.

Anybody tell me were i can pick up a cheap replacement?

My sympathies - its all too common these days. A new one spray painted by a dealer will set you back about £200. Cheaper lookalikes are available though.

Hope you catch the little f*****s that did it. Whenever I see a Nova or something with a scoop or spoiler on that shouldn't be there they get the appropriate gesticulation, i.e. w****rs.

Open the bonnet, there should be a plate under the scoop held on with about 8 or so screws, undo them and the plate will come off, once thats off you should see the fixing bolts (I think) for the actual scoop.
Good luck.
