Hopefully someone might be able to offer some suggestions of what's wrong as we've all run out of ideas!!

One of our MY99 Turbos has developed a fault which no one can trace. Every so often when you apply power the revs run back to idling. After a few seconds power is restored and the car is fine.

Subaru have conceded defeat after changing the ECU, battery, and just about everyting else they can think of.

It happens irregulary, i.e not after it has just been thrashed, or if its cold etc. The only thing that is constant is the fact that the voltmeter needle drops almost to 0v when this happens.

Any offers out there?!?

Regards

Stuart

Agree with Pete, damaged loom and/or bad earth, could just be a loose earthing point thats not been properly tightened
