What about meeting up one sunday morning for a chat and a blat?

I keep seeing all these Scoobs locally - so perhaps in Marlow (Car Park behind Waitrose?) for a little run ......
Current idea is over to Henley, Wallingford, Stadhampton, Thame and back to Wycombe, starting off at about 9am.

Probably an hours run, and we can stop in the Little Chef in Thame for a coffee etc.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Mark.

Or we could make it slightly later for those of a more delicate persuasion ..... 10am any better Ian?
As for Zilch - suggest somewhere else that has parking, toilets and beverage facilities at 11am in Thame ........

OK V5 Man - good point. I've got a Black 03 WRX - registration ****ML - so easy to spot!
I only live in Bourne End - so all of 2.5 miles away.

Zilch - wasn't being tetchy - realistic more like. Seriously if anyone can suggest anywhere else as a stop - go for it.

OK - so 10am in the Car Park behind Waitrose on the 24th. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else's cars are like!

Cool

Hah - thinking about too many other things! Yes I meant the 26th.

Waitrose Postcode (can't seem to get a clicky to work) is SL7 2NB for www.multimap.com or Waitrose and Marlow on www.yell.com

From Wycombe and A404 - Come off at Marlow Junction.
Roundabout - turn right.
Small roundabout - straight on.
Another small roundabout - straight on past BP Station on your left. Past set of Traffic Lights and SPEED CAMERA!
Keep going straight until mini roundabout - bear left.
Next roundabout (with statue in the middle) go right (really straight on). You will see Waitrose frontage on your right.
Turn next right in Front of Ford Garage.
Turn Right again and go about 100 metres - Waitrose is on your right - but turn left into the main car park!

How is that?

I had no idea that there was a car park behind Waitrose, or that Wycombe Scoobies were so sociable. (Had quite a few waves though)

I'll try to make it.

Mark, would suggest if the run is now slightly later and its getting nearer to lunch time, say 11:45/12 for the stop, we could head for the Leathern Bottle at Lewknor (for a shandy no less). Some excellent B roads from Thame, Postcombe, Back road through South Weston into the back end of Lewknor.. just watch for Ramblers .. If nearer to 11/11:30, then the Chef makes sense..

Cheers

The only road I love better is the "Bibury Backroad" - the B4425 from Burford to Cirencester! Amazing - once did the 16 miles in 12 minutes .... in a very tweaked Golf MKII GTI 16V!

Morning Guys - how about this for a run!

A4155 Marlow to Henley
A4130 Henley to Wallingford
A4074 Wallingford to Shillingford
A329 Shillingford to Thame outskirts
A418 Thame (Heading to Aylesbury) - Stop at Thame Services round side of Petrol Station.
B4012 to Postcombe
A40 Postcombe to Stokenchurch
B482 to Marlow.

Anyone not wanting to go back to Marlow can peel of at Stokenchurch and head into Wycombe on the A40, or get onto the M40 as we will turn left past the M40 junctions!
