Yup those case endings sure are hard work - as is the language in general!

I've been trying to learn for 31 years, and I'm still rubbish at it (as Kwispel will probably agree). I'm sure she could easily have picked up numerous grammatical errors - but a polite Finn wouldn't do that to me publicly :)

Still, some posts on here still seem to be struggling with English grammar, so I suppose I don't feel too bad.

And I remember when there weren't any birds at the rally. Remember the first time one was spotted (about 1998). Peeps were pointing and staring in disbelief..............

Still, the more merrier.

I mean, cmon mate, a bit of a lame attempt looking for lurve on a rally forum..?! How bout you try www.datingdirect.com

I mean, do you really wanna talk about knitting to a girl on a stage..? Personally id rather watch a car go sideways...

sudentassu
19 October 2003, 19:42
I agree Caws, we'll end up with all that WLTM, N/S, GSOH, FL crap and girls trying to describe themselves as "cuddly"............

Bloody good reply. Well done.

lozziloeb
19 October 2003, 20:12
okay i agree this aint quite 'datingdirect' or whotever but i think caws other comment was out of order.

if us girls (and i say 'us' in complete hope that there are other females on this board to back me up) wanted to talk about knitting to some random guy i'm sure a rally forum would be the first place we'd look. hmm..i don't think.

on the other hand if a bloke is looking for a lass who knows her cars and her rallying then why not ask around on a rally board?

anyways just thought this thread was in danger of becoming abusive and sexist towards female rally fans. thought i'd inject some feminism. :)

Bit of fun? Yeah the first bit was, when the question was asked whether any single ladies were going...

Fine, but asking if they're single and want msn'ing.. then the whole hair colour, height and shoe size stuff... sheesh..! Seems to me like you were serious, eh?!?

...and lozzi, I didnt mean the knitting thing to be 'literal'... did you not detect the hint of sarcasm in my post.? Dont get your knickers in a twist..? (See - there's some more for you..!)

My god, what the hell is this world coming to when you can't poke a bit of fun at people on a board without getting flamed... Feminists not having a sense of humour - well that's one thing i certainly could've predicted...!!!!!

Woah cool down. I'm sorry. I was in fact poking fun at the forum starter too, but I guess my sense of humour doesnt come across very well in text. I am very sorry to anyone that I may have offended but I am in fact a female using my brothers name to make fun at this thread. Sorry to you all again.

By the way notice how I was supposed to be the perfect male.
